![]() I don’t use any of the fancier features like syncing with my bank. I have never been able to keep track of my funds using a check register and I have found MoneyWiz to be totally reliable and I depend on it. So, their customer service is outstanding. When I let them know that I wanted to switch, they immediately refunded my money and I went ahead and got MoneyWiz 21. Unfortunately, MoneyWiz 21 is only available in IOS, but I can use it on my phone and tablet, just not on my PC, and for me, that was the best choice. They suggested that I get MoneyWiz 21, which is an annual subscription, but would allow me to integrate the two categories. They responded almost immediately that I could not do so in that version. I found that to be confusing and emailed them to see if there was any way to integrate the two. I recently upgraded to MoneyWiz 3 so I could use it on my new PC, but was upset that the newer version separated my pending and cleared transactions. Im also a new Robinhood user and having your brokerage linked to Moneywhiz 21 is super slick. Get this app you wont regret it!!! Im actually excited about goals and budgets again! P.S. That happened several times back in the day. I remember Banktivity being so complicated and you never knew when a glitch would occur during sync and you'd have to wipe it out and start over. Also when you open it on a Mac it looks identical to your phone. I played with it for a week with a mockup of my account and budgets and man was I stoked about how simple and intuitive it is!! It also runs like a dream on my new iphone 13. I dowloaded the app and to my surprise it gives you the ability to try the app in demo mode before subscribing. Bankitivity used to pride itself on looking like Apples aesthetics. It looked clean but complicated compared to what I was used to. At first glance of Moneywhiz 21 I was a little intimidated. After reading all the poor reviews of Banktivities newest software I started looking for an alternative. I recently had my banktivity software crash on me and become unusable and my software was outdated and obsolete. I’d highly recommend this program to anyone looking to organize and simplify their personal finances.Former iBank/Banktivity user of 10 years here. I’ve never had a problem with data integrity the system handles everything with complete accuracy and even provides reporting I need at year’s end to complete my tax return. I can even pay my bills from my phone if I need to, which is great when I do so much business travel. So if I’m at a restaurant, I can quickly and easily add that transaction directly from my phone to the program, eliminating the need to keep receipts until I’m back home at my computer. One of the best features of MoneyWiz for me is, it keeps data current on all my devices. Their support team is responsive and pleasant to work with. A quick e-mail to their support team restored my data for use with MoneyWiz 2 in a very short time (less than an hour). I did accidentally load MoneyWiz 3 on my new Mac and ended up locking up my data. ![]() This makes MoneyWiz 2 my pick over MoneyWiz 3. I’m not a fan of the programs that connect directly to online bank and credit card accounts I prefer to manage my accounts with a program but actually pay everything through my banking system directly. It’s a great way to keep all your accounts and transactions organized and balanced and your bills paid on time.
